Role/Purpose
This position will plan, liaise with government authorities to execute, and manage activities related to the production of commercial maize seed and other seed types. This will also include assistance with any field trials in the specific geographical area of operations.
To produce and supply good quality seed in the right volumes and qualities for sale. This position will also oversee the development and bringing to market other agricultural products such as fertiliser and agro chemicals.
Key responsibilities and tasks
📌 Manage approval of new seeds with Tosci
📌 Manage seed production with government entities, private sector producers and out-growers.
📌 Plan and manage products supply chain
📌 Work closely with distributors and the whole seeds supply chain
📌 Development and management of all new products from vendors
📌 Daily reporting on production progress
